Zelda charm bracelet by silverbeam

OHMYGOD I'M IN LOVE NOW. Just love how you made this bracelet... You did great with the details, and you picked the most symbolic of Ze...

Sad filly Derpy by TheTunderstormBrony

Whoa, that's a REALLY good vector. I think it matches the style of the show quite well, and Derpy seems pretty worried about something....

De Stijl Sample by Silver4Espeon
De Stijl Sample
Well, here's my crack at De Stijl! Man, it looks kind of generic. Not as scattered as it almost ended up looking, though. I was going to experiment with kind of blending it with pixel art, almost, but I couldn't figure out a tasteful way to pull it off, so here's what I have for now. I'll have to go back to that other idea later, though...

Color Field: Counting by Silver4Espeon
Color Field: Counting
Well, here's my piece for color field! It may look a little chaotic, but it has a personal meaning. I have color-grapheme synesthesia, meaning numbers and letters have colors to me. From the top down are the numerals 1 through 9 in the colors I see them, and right to left it gets darker, the same way it does for me moving from one to one hundred and onward. So, that's interesting!

Art Nouveau Delftware Plate by Silver4Espeon
Art Nouveau Delftware Plate
My sample work for Art Nouveau. Somehow, when I try drawing or painting in this style, everything ends up a lot thicker and rounder than you'd think it should. I do like the pretty, natural feel to Nouveau, and the whole vine motif too, even where it logically shouldn't be applied. And for those of you wondering, that creature in the middle isn't a cat... no, not a fox either... it's a Persian mythological beast called the simurgh, with the body of a bird, lion's paws, and the head of a dog. It was said to have lived on the tree of life and scattered the seeds of every plant when it took flight, and that legend is what I based this whole plate on. Next time I work with underglaze, I'll have to remember to use two coats. We made these in class and everyone's came out all patchy like that. :/ Still not that bad, though. Hope y'all enjoy!

Well, it's finally time for me to post all this. Remember that project I mentioned in April? I've been working on it for months, and I'm finally about to post it. It's pretty last minute, being due tomorrow, but I had been meaning to post everything last week. Then, some of my sample works were ruined by this crazy rain we've been having, which is apparently strong enough to soak all the way through a backpack. >:( Anyway, now that I have everything together again, here's the deal: My project is about different art movements and styles. I chose five in particular that interested me and decided to make a journal post explaining each one and an accompanying sample artwork. I was supposed to join some clubs about each style or for educating budding artists too, but oh well. At any rate, all my content is either done or just needs some touching up, so time to finally put it all on the internet!

Okay, so obviously I'm not exactly an active poster here. About time for me to change that! I've been doing a lot since the last time I posted, which was... I don't even remember, actually. But anyway, I have lots of new work to post, a school project I'm going to use my dA for, and other stuff, so get ready for some more activity around here! I'm going to make a bunch of journal posts about different art styles, and a work in each style to go with them. Also, I'll post some artwork that I've forgotten to post over the years or have just recently made. Oh, and I'll try to fix some of what's already there. (I'm really not good at borders and stuff... ^^')

Hello there, everyone! I'm an amateur artist, as you can see. I like making amigurumi, but I do delve into other media now and then. However, I'm not so good with digital, as you can clearly see by the terrible attempts at title cards on some of my more recent works. ^^' Additionally, I have long spans of time in which I don't update, usually due to laziness, but sometimes because I genuinely don't have much to present. Crochet is a time-consuming practice, after all. It's no wonder that I don't really have any fans yet. However, I'm going to try to work harder, contribute to more clubs, and get noticed!

What else? I'm not an incredibly passionate and active member of any fandom, really, but here are some specific games/shows/whatever that I'm interested in:
-Homestuck
-Hetalia
-MLP:FiM
-Pokemon
-Harvest Moon
-Sonic the Hedgehog
-Mario
-Legend of Zelda
-Ghost Trick
-Starbound

You may or may not see fanart of these from me, or even in my favorites. But I'm always ready to chat about them, or most anything else really :)

No problem! More things need to be said about being satisfied with yourself, and especially your art. I felt you gave everyone on dA much-needed and very well-written advice :)
